Could you be our next BMJ Best Practice Clinical Expert?

Are you a healthcare professional interested in how digital health tools can support patient care and decision-making at the bedside?

Are you looking to demonstrate your leadership skills and capabilities?

We have created the BMJ Clinical Expert programme for aspiring healthcare professionals passionate about bringing actionable knowledge to their peers at a local, regional, and/or national level.  

BMJ Best Practice is an evidence-based, clinical decision support tool that has been selected by Bibliosan. It is freely available to all healthcare professionals as part of Bibliosan and provides continuously updated, reliable information on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions. 

Who can take part?

This program is exclusively for Bibliosan.  


Eligibility:  
Participants must be in good standing with their medical profession and be one of the following:


- Junior/resident/trainee doctor (specializzando)
- Nurse
- Midwife
- GP
- Pharmacist
- Paramedic
- Medical student (on clinical rotation)

What support will I receive?

You will receive expert guidance and support from Dr. Kieran Walsh (BMJ’s Clinical Director). We will work together with you to spread the word about BMJ Best Practice, for example, speaking to peers in inductions or supporting Quality Improvement projects.

Dr Kieran Walsh is Clinical Director at BMJ. He is the clinical lead of the medical education and clinical decision support resources at BMJ. He has a vast amount of experience in online medical education, clinical decision support, face to face delivery of medical education, and both summative and formative assessment. He has experience of using all of these in programmes to strengthen health systems. He is Adjunct Associate Professor in Teaching and Research at Monash University. He has published over 200 papers in the biomedical literature and has written four books on medical education.

As part of being a BMJ Best Practice Clinical Expert, you will receive:
